چکیده

The high-temperature rheological properties of emulsified asphalt mastics have a significant impact on the service performance cold recycled mixtures with emulsions. In this paper, dynamic shear (DSR) test and multiple stress creep recovery (MSCR) are carried out to analyze influence tunneling coal gangue powder (TCGP), portland cement (PC), limestone (LP), four kinds filler binder ratio (F/B) before after rolling thin film oven (RTFOT) ageing. Based principle time–temperature equivalence viscoelasticity material model, main curve under frequency scanning is established, in wide domain analyzed. Finally, grey entropy theory used quantitatively correlation between different high temperature evaluation indices mastics. results show that RTFOT ageing process can significantly enhance deformation resistance residue its rutting factor (G*/sin δ) increases exponentially increase F/B, while phase angle less affected. TCGP PC better performances than those LP most suitable range F/B 0.9~1.2 when as filler, 1.2~1.5 or filler. Grey analysis shows there good two systems DSR MSCR test, both evaluate

Comparison of Rheological Properties for Recovered Residue from Emulsified Asphalt obtained by Three Recovery Procedures

Subject area: Quality/Test Procedures Several recovery procedures for asphalt emulsion residue have been used over the years, but there is no one procedure that has been universally accepted. In this study three recovery methods are used to obtain the residue of the emulsified asphalt: 1) distillation (ASTM D 6997), 2) evaporation (ASTM D 6934) and, 3) the newly approved moisture analyzer balan...

Effect of Reclaimed rubber Modification on the Rheological Properties and Rutting Resistance of Asphalt Binders

In this paper, the effect of reclaimed rubber modification on the rheological characteristics of asphalt binders is studied. Reclaimed rubber with the extent of 12, 16 and 20 is added to the neat asphalt binder and then shear complex modulus is obtained for neat and modified asphalt binder via Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) test. Using Christensen-Anderson- Marasteanu (CAM) model, master curves ...

Rheological Properties and Chemical Bonding of Asphalt Modified with Nanosilica

The objective of this study is to evaluate the rheological properties and chemical bonding of nano-modified asphalt binders blended with nanosilica. In this study, the nanosilica was added to the control asphalt at contents of 4% and 6% based on the weight of asphalt binders. Superpave binder and mixture tests were utilized in this study to estimate the characteristics of the nano-modifed aspha...
